Strings is a powerful solution designed to help telco operators monitor their networks and improve customer experience. The solution has OTA Platform (Over the Air) as backend and a special SIM applet, which is installed on subscribers’ SIM cards remotely.
OTA Platform is a wireless technology that enables telco operators to remotely manage and update SIM cards, mobile devices, and other connected devices. The platform uses wireless communication channels such as SMS, GPRS, 3G, and 4G to send and receive data and commands. It provides a secure and reliable way for telco operators to manage their devices and networks, ensuring that they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
SIM applet registers events listed below to the terminal. Terminal notifies applet is once any of them occurs. After getting notification, the applet sends additional proactive commands to the terminal and sends response data using SMS bearer to the back-end.

MNO can select a subset of events above, and only those selected events can be registered by customized SIM applet during the mobile terminal initialization. SIM applet is programmed to send silent messages, which includes measurement data (NMR).
