IVR gateway is an automated telephony system that allows customers to interact with our company through voice commands. The IVR gateway includes a menu function, which allows customers to navigate through different options and reach the desired department or information.
When a customer calls our company’s phone number, they are greeted with a recorded message that explains the options available to them. The customer can then use their phone’s keypad to select the option they want. For example, they may press 1 to speak with a customer service representative, 2 to check their account balance, or 3 to hear the latest promotions.
The menu function also includes an option for customers to speak with a live representative if they are unable to find the information they need through the automated system.
